HIV testing pop up
On Monday 18th October, I ran a HIV testing pop-up for Sexpression:UK's #bestifyoutest month at The University of Edinburgh. The event was in collaboration with Waverley Care and a queer-owned coffee shop in Edinburgh, Modern Standard Coffee.
Due to our promotion and my teams hard work, the pop-up was a beyond success. With the staggering increase in STIs and STDs, events like these which normalise testing are so important. The only way to make new HIV diagnoses a thing of the past is to promote testing, facilitate education and challenge stigma. Catch us in 2025 for our next pop-up!
